Within a matter of only a few years, Billie has zoomed from the equivocal position of a highly promising singer to that of one of the world´s top recording artists. Billie brings to music a quality that had too long been missing, a sort of breezy freshness and an imitate directness of appeal. From her very first recordings she was a success, her singing has kept pace and she is one of the most artful and popular stars of her generation. To rhythm numbers she brings a brisk, sparkling enthusiasm that lights up even an ordinary song, while to ballads Billie brings a sort of husky grace and an impression of genuine sincerty that has captivated an imposing number of listeners!

En l’espace de quelques années seulement, Billie est passé de la position équivoque d’une chanteuse très prometteuse à celle d’une des meilleures artistes de rhythm and blues combo . Billie apporte à la musique une qualité qui manquait depuis trop longtemps, une sorte de brise fraiche qui fait du bien aux oreilles. Le succès est arrivé dès les premiers enregistrements.Son chant a suivi le rythme et elle est l’une des stars les plus artistiques et populaires de sa génération. Aux numéros rythmiques, elle apporte un enthousiasme vif et pétillant qui illumine même une chanson ordinaire. Billie apporte aux ballades une sorte de grâce et une impression de sincérité authentique qui a captivé un nombre imposant d’auditeurs !

Billie & the Kids were part of great line-ups on big blues and rock’n’roll festivals, and got invited to perform in many clubs in England, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Hungary, etc. Their first album, „Take One“, was released in 2010 for Rhythm Bomb Records, and the second one, „Jukebox Daddy“, in 2014 (along with the special 45rpm vinyl single release). The second 45rpm vinyl single featuring the new original song „You Ain’t Pleasin’ Me“, and a duet song with mr. Cherry Casino was put out in late 2016. Both albums and vinyl singles have gained excellent feedback, great written reviews, and many tracks are airplayed on the radio stations in Europe, and in the USA. Billie & the Kids will release their third full lenght album in 2017, again with focus on original material and arrangements.Recording the original songs, Billie & the Kids found themselves featuring „I Need You Tonight“ as the opening song number for the German screwball-musical „The Last Lie“ in 2011.
